Sudhiranjan Lahiri Mahavidyalaya (SRLM) actively promotes cultural engagement among students through various events, notably SPANDAN, Fresher’s Welcome, and the Annual Social.

SPANDAN: This annual cultural festival serves as a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talents in music, dance, drama, and other artistic expressions. The event aims to foster creativity and camaraderie among participants. While there have been proposals to increase the number of events within SPANDAN, recent reports indicate that no significant enhancements have been implemented yet.

Fresher’s Welcome: Organized at the beginning of the academic year, this event warmly greets new students, helping them acclimate to the college environment. It typically includes cultural performances and interactive sessions, facilitating a sense of belonging and community among newcomers.

Annual Social: This gathering is a highlight of the college's cultural calendar, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to celebrate the year's achievements. The event features a variety of performances and activities, reflecting the diverse talents within the college community.
